What is passive income?
Passive income is a type of income that comes from sources that do not require a lot of effort or maintenance to generate income. This can include things like rental properties, investments, and businesses that generate income without the need for the owner to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations. The goal of passive income is to generate a steady stream of income without having to put in a lot of continuous effort. In other words a project that you benefit from after the work is done.
It’s not a given that your effort will produce results right away, but it can very much contribute to filling the day with something meaningful.
Many of these opportunities can be a good fit for people with reduced or variable work ability because of the time needed, and it’s flexible.
There are many ways to earn money through passive income. Some common examples include investing in rental properties and stocks, creating and selling products or services, or starting a business that generates income without requiring constant effort from the owner. For example, if you can make a print-on-demand shop on e.g. RedBubble.com and Etzy and sell items when you sleep. Similarly, if you create and sell an e-book or an online course, you can earn money from sales without having to constantly be involved in the process. The key to earning passive income is to find a way to generate income without having to be constantly active.
It also gives you an opportunity to play on your skills or a hobby.
You may have to be open to new things and skills, you will fail at something, and maybe succeed at others. Go ahead and navigate the menu for a passive income orientation.

Sell videos and pictures as stock footage
One way to earn money by selling stock footage is to create video footage that can be licensed for use by other individuals or organizations. Once you have created the footage, you can upload it to a stock footage website, such as Shutterstock or iStock, where potential buyers can browse and purchase the footage for use in their own projects. Alternatively, you can also reach out to potential buyers directly and offer them your footage for licensing. It’s important to make sure that you have the rights to any footage that you sell, and that you have obtained any necessary releases from any individuals who appear in the footage.

Write or create a book
If you are good at or happy to write, write a book! Write the story you’ve been thinking about for years, or explore a topic you’re interested in. Read up sources and write that book. If you are also good in another language, write it there as well. Nowadays, you don’t need a publisher, and can publish it as an e-book.
The probability of becoming a famous author is small, but books about local history sell well too 😊
